I'm so excited to announce that Teacups and Mudpies will officially be opening on September 15, 2008. The time is FINALLY here! I feel like it has been a forever work in progress but I'm glad for the opportunity to share my new adventure into e-commerce with the world at last. It has been a long time coming but with a 2 1/2 year old and a new baby as of February 8th, I've had my hands full to say the least.
To let you know a little bit more about me and about my choice to start Teacups and Mudpies, let me begin by saying that I absolutely love being a mom. It was definately my calling in life. Not to say I don't have my challenges because let me tell you I most certainly do. Juggling a rambunctious 2 1/2 year old and a very needy 7 month old, along with cleaning house, doing laundry and somehow finding time to work on my business is all a very big challenge for me. It keeps me on my toes but also keeps me excited about what the next day has in store for me. It's a constant battle but at the end of the day I still stand by my decision to be at home with my boys. I couldn't imagine spending my days any other way.
After my oldest son Brennan was born, I knew that I had to find a way to stay at home with my baby. Working outside the home just wasn't for me. I began to hate the normal routine of getting up, dropping my baby off at daycare, going to work and heading home to having only a few hours with my son. It wasn't long after he was born that I started looking into setting up my own website. For the next 2 years I pondered over the idea of starting my own business but never really knew how to take that next step. It wasn't until I was expecting my youngest son, Bryson, that I really took the leap into actually putting my plan into action.
After alot of hard work and many, many hours of late nights and early mornings, I am finally ready to introduce the world to my new venture....Teacups and Mudpies. This is an exciting time for me and my family. We hope that you will see this as a great place to shop for your little one or the new arrival of a loved one. We will continue to grow our business and hope to offer you more and more great products each and every day. Thanks for taking the time to read a little about my life as a mom and a new business owner.
As Always Take Care and God Bless!
